The Friday, July 9 episode of SmackDown averaged 1.986 million viewers on Fox, up 6.7 percent from the previous week.
It’s the second-highest viewership for SmackDown since May 7.
In the 18-49 demo, SmackDown drew a 0.48 rating, up 4.3 percent from the previous week. The actual viewership number in that category was 625,000, up from the 597,000 viewers it drew in 18-49 the previous week.
As shown in the chart below, SmackDown’s viewership was up slightly from the 10-week average. The 18-49 number was down from the 10-week average.
Year-over-year, SmackDown was up 4.5 percent in overall viewership and up three percent in the 18-49 demo.
This was the final SmackDown episode from the WWE ThunderDome. WWE returns to touring starting with this Friday’s SmackDown, which is taking place at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.
