Overnight ratings are in for last night’s SmackDown on Fox. The show averaged 2.166 million viewers, its best overnight viewership since January 29.
This week’s SmackDown was headlined by Daniel Bryan defeating Jey Uso in a steel cage match to earn a Universal Championship shot against Roman Reigns at Fastlane.
Fox finished last overall in terms of network viewers, with NBC averaging 2.7 million as the next closest to them.
In terms of the key demos, SmackDown drew a 0.6 rating in 18-49, up 20 percent from last week’s overnight number. That was second on network television behind ABC’s Shark Tank.
SmackDown was also up 20 percent in the 18-34 demo, drawing a 0.3 rating. It tied with Shark Tank for the top spot on the networks in that category.
Year-over-year, SmackDown was down 11.7 percent in total overnight viewership. The show was also down 14.3 percent in the 18-49 demo from this week last year and down 25 percent in 18-34.
