WWE Rejected Bullet Club Reunion at TLC, Balor & Undertaker News

AJ Styles, Finn Balor, Karl Anderson, and Luke Gallows are all current WWE main roster members who were once involved in the Bullet Club stable. Aside from a brief reunion between Styles, Anderson, and Gallows last year, the four of them have not teamed up in WWE. On a recent edition of Pro Wrestling Sheet’s Wrestling Sheet Radio show, Ryan Satin revealed that WWE was apparently considering adding a 4-on-4 match at TLC featuring Balor teaming up with Styles, Anderson, and Gallows against a different group after it was declared that Bray Wyatt could not compete at the event. It is said that Vince McMahon shot the idea down quickly, but Balor and Styles faced each other in a match that was widely-praised by fans instead.
On the subject of Finn Balor, it was previously reported that WWE had been considering having him challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship. Balor was crowned the inaugural champion at SummerSlam last year, but he was forced to vacate the title due to an injury the very next night. Fans have been clamoring for Balor to receive his rematch for the title ever since he returned from his injury earlier this year. Cageside Seats reports that WWE may have changed their plans and now Balor will not be challenging Lesnar for the title. It is unclear why the company decided to change plans, but this speculation that Balor would not be challenging Lesnar increased when he was defeated by Kane on Raw this past Monday night.
The Undertaker appeared to have wrestled his last match at Wrestlemania 33 earlier this year when he was defeated by Roman Reigns. Despite this, numerous rumors of Undertaker returning have surfaced in recent months. The Undertaker was recently spotted at the premiere of Ric Flair’s 30 for 30 ESPN special, and “The Phenom” has dyed his hair black again, which he usually does not do during his time away from the ring. This could increase speculation on Undertaker’s return to the ring ever further, especially with the Survivor Series pay-per-view coming up soon. Although, he is making a rare appearance at the Wizard World Comic Con tomorrow, so it is possible that he may have dyed his hair for that reason.
