Wrestlers Upset Over TNA Release, TNA Video Game Update, Madison Rayne Signed

— Among the wrestlers, there was an immediate negative reaction to TNA parting ways with Petey Williams, who the company decided to let go last week. There was resentment in the cut as Williams was seen as guy who always worked hard and never did anything wrong, while other wrestlers who don’t give it their all and are often causing trouble aren’t going to be let go. There had been pushes for TNA to start letting some talent go because a number of guys have been in the company for several years and they had no idea how to use them anymore, so they were essentially clogging up space on the roster.

— Despite Midway Games’ bankruptcy filing last week, the company is still working on the second TNA video game. It is believed that Midway Games is trying to get the game done and out as soon as possible so it can be counted among the company’s assets.

— The TNA website posted an announcement today confirming the news of Madison Rayne signing a deal with the company. TNA officials were so impressed with Rayne’s showing against Awesome Kong on Impact last month that they signed her to become a full-time member of the TNA Knockouts roster. They have also posted some new photos of Rayne at the following link.
