SmackDown Live Viewership Drops: Lowest Number Since WWE Draft In July

The Tuesday, October 25th edition of SmackDown Live drew 2.127 million viewers, according to Showbuzz Daily. By comparison, last week’s episode drew 2.405 million viewers, marking a 11.6-percent decrease in viewership this week.

This week’s show, which featured AJ Styles vs. Dean Ambrose in the main event, drew the lowest audience for an episode of the show since it moved to the new live, Tuesday time slot back on July 19th.

SmackDown Live this week faced competition in the form of Game 1 of the MLB World Series, the opening night of the new NBA season, as well as popular shows such as The Kelly File and The O’Reilly Factor. Against such competition, SmackDown Live finished number eight on the night in terms of viewership on cable television, and number four in the coveted 18-49 demographic.
