Samoa Joe feuded with AJ Styles for the WWE Championship for a number of weeks, and although Joe was not able to win the title, the rivalry and matches between the two wrestlers has largely been praised by fans. However, it appears now that Joe’s in-ring future may be in jeopardy. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Samoa Joe is currently working through an injury. Joe’s injury is unknown at the moment, but it was mentioned that he could end up being pulled from some upcoming live events. As of right now, neither WWE nor Samoa Joe have confirmed that he is injured. Joe will remain on SmackDown for the time being, but it is definitely looking possible that Joe could be taking time off soon.
On Impact Wrestling, Tessa Blanchard is still dominating the Knockouts division as the champion. Blanchard has defended the Knockouts Championship successfully on numerous occasions, and it almost seems like nobody can take the title from her at this point. However, it has just been announced that Tessa will be putting her title on the line during next week’s edition of Impact. The promotion announced on last night’s show that there will be a Knockouts Championship bout between Blanchard and Taya Valkyrie next Thursday night. The match is a rematch from Impact’s recent Bound for Glory pay-per-view, which saw Blanchard defeat Valkyrie to retain the championship. Check out their next match on Impact next week.
.@Tess_Blanchard insists she can beat @TheTayaValkyrie no matter the circumstance and she plans to do that in a Knockouts Championship match NEXT WEEK.
