ROH Global Wars Results (11/09): Buffalo, New York

Ring Of Honor (ROH) together with New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) recently held the third night of their Global Wars Event which emanated from The Buffalo Riverworks in Buffalo, New York. The show was highlighted by BUSHI vs. Flip Gordon vs. Jonathan Gresham vs. IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion KUSHIDA in a Blockbuster Four Corner Survival Main Event Matchup and The Briscoes (Jay & Mark Briscoe) vs. Best Friends (Chuckie T & Beretta) vs. The Elite (Cody & Hangman Page) in the co-main event. Below are the full results from the show: 
SoCal Uncensored members “The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels & “The Heavy Metal Rebel” Frankie Kazarian make their way to the ring. Kazarian announces that Scorpio Sky isn’t here this evening. Kazarian then says that he got a text message from Sky and it says that Buffalo is the worst town he’s ever been in. Daniels then says that the bad town is filled with bad ass wrestling fans. Daniels then tells the people of Thousand Oaks, California that SCU and everybody from ROH is thinking about them all. Kazarian then leads the crowd in an SCU chant.
The match between The Kingdom and The boys never begins as The Kingdom jumps The Boys before the bell sounds. The Kingdom then attacks The Boys with a plethora of strikes. Taven takes off his belt and he whips The Boys with it. Marseglia also attacks one of The boys by choking him with a scarf. The Kingdom throws The Boys out of the ring and the beating continues. Taven nails a boy with a back body drop on the arena floor. Marseglia then suplexes a boy on the exposed concrete floor. Taven gets a boy in the ring and he lawn darts him into a chair that was propped up in the corner. Taven gets a microphone and he tells Dalton Castle that the beating will continue until he comes out to stop it. Marseglia drags The Boys onto a pile of chairs. Castle eventually comes out and he has a microphone in hand. Taven then says that Castle needs to show him the respect he deserves. Taven then says that he wants to have his first ROH Title defense against Castle at ROH Final Battle 2018. TK O’Ryan jumps Castle from behind and he shoves him into the concrete wall. Marseglia & O’Ryan drag Castle to the ring after throwing him off the stage. Taven then attacks Castle once he is thrown in the ring. ROH security comes out as Castle continues getting attacked. O’Ryan then gets the microphone and he tells the referee to ring the bell for his match with Castle and the referee rings the bell.
TK O’Ryan vs. Dalton Castle: The match begins with O’Ryan hitting Castle with an elbow drop for a near fall. Castle fights back and he quickly goes down a few moments later. O’Ryan stands over Castle while landing a ton of strikes. O’Ryan throws Castle out of the ring and he follows him out there. O’Ryan shoves Castle back first into the ringside edge a few times. Castle fights back again and he throws O’Ryan into the barricade. O’Ryan kicks Castle in the face before getting him back in the ring. O’Ryan corners Castle before attacking him with chops. O’Ryan takes Castle’s shirt off of him before choking him with it. O’Ryan also chokes Castle with some wrist tape. O’Ryan drops Castle with a kick to the back followed by a clothesline for a near fall. Castle fights back and he nails O’Ryan with an exploder suplex. O’Ryan recovers and he drops Castle with a left for a near fall. O’Ryan holds Castle down while attacking his back with knee strikes. O’Ryan applies a modified camel clutch to Castle. Castle gets free and he fails at a Bang A Rang attempt. Castle then hits O’Ryan with a knee strike followed by a DDT. Castle follows that up by nailing O’Ryan with more strikes. Castle then hits O’Ryan with a back suplex followed by a bulldog for a near fall. O’Ryan recovers and he backs Castle into the corner. O’Ryan gets to the ring apron before raking the eyes of Castle. O’Ryan goes to the top rope and Castle trips him up before landing a running knee strike. Castle hits O’Ryan with a Bang A Rang for the three count. Winner: Dalton Castle
After the match, Dalton Castle grabs the microphone and he addresses the broken back he suffered a while back. Castle says that the bandages hold him together, but do not slow him down. Castle then says that Matt Taven’s belt is a fake, but he accepts the earlier challenge from Taven at ROH Final Battle 2018.
Kenny King gets the microphone before the next match and says that he will win The ROH World Title in two days. King then says that he has been given a warm up match tonight by ROH Officials. King trash talks Cheeseburger on the microphone and says that he feels disrespected by ROH for having him as his opponent.
Kenny King vs. Cheeseburger w/Ryan Nova & Eli Isom: The match begins with King taking down Cheeseburger with a leg sweep. King stands over Cheeseburger while landing some strikes. King then drills Cheeseburger with a clothesline. King holds Cheeseburger down while stomping away on him. Cheeseburger fights back and he nails King with a series of side kicks. Cheeseburger mounts King in the corner and he lands a few strikes. Cheeseburger uses a drop kick to knock King to the arena floor. Cheeseburger then takes King down with a dive. Cheeseburger follows King around the arena floor while landing a few strikes. King fights back and he nails Cheeseburger with strikes of his own before throwing him into the barricade. King gets Cheeseburger back in the ring for a near fall on a pin attempt. King applies a modified abdominal stretch to Cheeseburger. Cheeseburger gets free and he rolls up King for a near fall. King recovers to drop Cheeseburger with a lariat. King holds Cheeseburger down while applying a Last Chancery. Cheeseburger gets free by biting the hand of King. King goes for a suplex and Cheeseburger nails him with a knee strike to the head. Cheeseburger knocks King to the arena floor and then lands a middle rope knee strike as King returned to the ring. Cheeseburger drops King with a springboard cross body block for a near fall. King recovers and he drops Cheeseburger with a running suplex. Cheeseburger causes King to miss a kick before landing a thrust kick to the head. King catches a leaping Cheeseburger to land a Royal Flush for the three count. Winner: Kenny King
Madison Rayne vs. Kelly Klein: The match begins with Klein wrenching away on the arm of Rayne. Rayne takes Klein down and she rolls her up for a near fall. Rayne gets Klein down and she applies the body scissors to her. Rayne rolls up Klein a few times for a few near fall. Rayne gets to the ring apron and Klein knocks her to the arena floor with a forearm strike. Rayne gets to the ring apron and Klein knocks her back to the arena floor. Rayne gets back in the ring and Klein drops her for a near fall. Rayne fights back and Klein nails her with a fallaway slam. Klein traps Rayne in the corner while landing a few strikes. Klein then kicks a dazed Rayne in the face for a near fall. Klein holds Rayne down while wrenching away on her face. Rayne gets free and Klein tosses her into the corner before landing an avalanche. Klein traps Rayne in the ropes while landing knee strikes for a near fall. Klein goes to the top rope while applying a chin lock to Rayne. Rayne fights back and she nails Klein with an enziguiri. Rayne gets angry and she attacks Klein with a ton of strikes. Rayne drops Klein and she lands a sliding clothesline for a near fall. Rayne then hits Klein with a middle rope cross body block for a near fall. Klein shocks Rayne with a roll up from out of nowhere for a three count. Winner: Kelly Klein
Rhett Titus comes on stage to do a few poses, but a referee covers him up with a towel before dragging him backstage.
IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion KUSHIDA vs. Jonathan Gresham vs. BUSHI vs. Flip Gordon (Four Corner Survival Match): The match begins with Gordon and Gresham attacking Bushi and Kushida. All four competitors go back and forth until a stand off takes place. Bushi drops Kushida with a shoulder tackle before getting knocked out of the ring. Gresham takes Kushida down with a hurricanrana followed by a drop kick. Gordon returns and nails Gresham with a springboard drop kick. Gordon misses an overhead kick and Gresham stomps his arm. Gordon recovers and he nails Gresham with a springboard spear. Bushi attacks Gordon before knocking Gresham out of the ring. Bushi then nails Kushida with a missile drop kick. Bushi then knocks Kushida out of the ring before applying an STF to Gordon. Gresham gets back in the ring and Bushi rakes his eyes. Bushi holds Gresham down while holding him in a chin lock. Bushi then clears the ring and Kushida quickly gets back in before eating a bunch of stomps. Gresham gets back in the ring and Bushi knocks him right back out. Bushi then applies a chin lock to a downed Kushida. Kushida gets free and Bushi tries choking him with his shirt. Kushida gets free again and he quickly drops Bushi. Kushida gets up and he nails everybody in the match with hip tosses. Kushida hits Bushi with another hip toss before landing a drop kick. Gordon returns and he nails Kushida with an overhead kick followed by a springboard moonsault. Gordon then takes out Gresham and Bushi with a suicide dive. Gordon gets Gresham in the ring before going to the top rope. Gordon misses a 450 splash and Gresham drops all three opponents for multiple near falls. Bushi recovers and he nails Gresham with a mule kick. Bushi gets to the top rope and Gordon nails him with a springboard head kick. Kushida and Gresham follow Gordon to the top rope. Bushi takes Gresham and Kushida down with a power bomb. Gordon goes for a 450 splash and Gresham gets his knees up. Bushi goes to the top rope and Kushida kicks him in the head. Bushi then hits Gordon with a double knee strike. Gresham then hits Kushida with a reverse hurricanrana. Bushi then sprays mist in the face of Gresham before rolling Kushida up for a near fall. Kushida catches Bushi in a Hoverboard Lock before landing Back To the Future for a three count. Winner: IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion KUSHIDA
ROH World Television Champion Jeff Cobb vs. EVIL (Non-Title Match): The match begins with Cobb scoring a takedown on Evil. Cobb holds Evil down while wrenching away on his arm. Evil gets free and he gets Cobb in a headlock. Cobb gets free and he exchanges some shoulder tackles with Evil. Cobb ends that exchange by nailing a charging Evil with a drop kick. Evil rolls out of the ring and Cobb follows him out there to land a few strikes. Cobb gets Evil back in the ring and Evil quickly clotheslines Cobb back out of it. Evil follows that up by throwing Cobb into the barricade. Evil gets Cobb back in the ring and he rakes his face along the top rope. Cobb fights back and he exchanges chops with Evil. Evil ends that exchange by raking the eyes of Cobb. Evil drops Cobb before landing a senton for a near fall. Evil holds Cobb down while pulling back on his arms. Cobb gets free and he drops Evil a few times with clotheslines and back elbow strikes. Cobb then drops Evil with a torture rack bomb for a near fall. Cobb goes for a standing moonsault and Evil gets his knees up. Evil corners Cobb before nailing him with a spinning clothesline followed by a fisherman buster suplex for a near fall. Evil goes to the top rope and Cobb follows him up there. Evil knocks Cobb off the ropes and Cobb still manages to hit him with a drop kick. Cobb returns to the top rope and he hits Evil with a delayed vertical superplex. Cobb then hits Evil with half of an Oklahoma Stampede. Evil recovers to hit Cobb with a thrust kick followed by Darkness Falls for a near fall. Evil goes for Everything Is Evil and Cobb blocks it to land a spinning back suplex. Evil and Cobb would then exchange some clothesline attempts. Cobb eventually drops Evil with a clothesline before landing a standing moonsault for a near fall. Evil uses a referee distraction to somehow hit Cobb with a Magic Killer for a near fall. Cobb and Evil exchange finisher attempts until Cobb lands the Tour Of The Islands for the three count. Juice Robinson vs. Silas Young: The match begins with Robinson dropping Young before forcibly shaking his hand. Robinson then applies the headlock to Young. Robinson releases the hold to drop Young with a shoulder tackle. Young trips up Robinson and he knocks him out of the ring. Robinson gets back in the ring as Young goes to the arena floor. Robinson goes for a dive and Young gets out of the way so he crashes to the arena floor. Young then sends Robinson into the barricade a few times. Young gets Robinson back in the ring before landing a slingshot double stomp. Young follows that up by kicking Robinson right in the face. Young then hits Robinson with a suplex for a near fall. Young would drop Robinson again before landing a hard Irish whip to the corner. Young keeps Robinson down while stomping away on him. Robinson fights back and Young drills him with a drop kick. Young holds Robinson down while applying a chin lock. Young releases the hold to hit Robinson with a suplex followed by applying the front face lock. Robinson gets free and Young shoves him out of the ring. Robinson gets to the ring apron and Young knocks him off into the barricade. Robinson gets back in the ring and he nails a charging Young with a spine buster. Robinson then connects with his trademark Juice Jabs against Young before landing a left. Robinson goes to the top rope and he nails Young with a high cross body for a near fall. Young escapes a power bomb attempt and Robinson kicks him in the face instead. Robinson then corners Young before landing a clothesline. Robinson sets up for a cannonball and Young counters with a back breaker into a clothesline for a near fall. Robinson goes for Pulp Friction and Young stops it from happening. Young then hits Robinson with a full nelson knee strike before landing a Finlay roll. Young goes for a split legged moonsault and Robinson gets his knees up. Robinson then hits a cornered Young with a cannonball. Robinson follows up by nailing Young with a power bomb for a near fall. Young rolls out of the ring and Robinson gets him back in. Young then gets to the ring apron and he drops Robinson neck first on the top rope. Young gets back in the ring and he rolls up Robinson for a near fall. Robinson recovers to land a few lefts. Bully Ray hits the ring and he kicks Robinson in the balls to cause a DQ. Winner via DQ: Juice Robinson
After the match, Bully Ray attacks the referee and he shouts at Silas Young. Flip Gordon hits the ring and he drops Ray with a super kick. Gordon grabs a chair and Young nails him with a low blow. Ray grabs a kendo stick and he brings it into the ring. ROH CEO Joe Koff comes on stage with a microphone to give Ray the business for his actions in recent months. Koff gets face to face with Ray to tell him that if he hits anybody with the kendo stick, then he’ll be fired.
The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) vs. Los Ingobernables de Japon (Tetsuya Naito & SANADA): The match begins with Matt and Naito having a striking exchange in the middle of the ring. Naito ends the exchange by raking the eyes of Matt. Naito follows that up by hitting Matt with an atomic drop followed by a hurricanrana. Sanada and Nick get tagged in by their respective partners. Nick drops Sanada with a shoulder tackle. Nick follows that up by nailing Sanada with a drop kick. Nick then hits Sanada in the ropes while landing a neck breaker. Matt tags in and he double teams Sanada with Nick. Matt follows that up by attacking Sanada with strikes. Naito interferes and trips up Matt so Sanada can nail him with a basement drop kick. Sanada and Naito then hit Matt with a double drop kick. A brawl breaks out between both teams and its spills outside of the ring. Sanada gets Matt back in the ring before tagging Naito into the match. Naito traps Matt in the corner before landing a drop kick. Naito follows that up by nailing Matt with a neck breaker for a near fall. Sanada tags in and he nails Matt with a top rope axe handle smash. Sanada then locks Matt in the paradise lock before Nick interferes. Sanada also locks Nick in the paradise lock. Sanada then nails both Bucks with a basement drop kick. Naito tags in and he attacks the injured back of Matt. Matt fights back and he nails Naito with a missile drop kick. Matt looks for a tag and Sanada knocks Nick off the ring apron. LIJ look to double team Matt and Matt drops them with a double clothesline. Nick tags in and he cleans house against the opposing team. Nick hits Naito with a springboard double stomp before hitting Sanada with a lung blower. Matt tags in and The Bucks lock LIJ in the sharp shooters. LIJ eventually get to the ropes to break the submissions. Naito recovers and he nails Matt with a tornado DDT. Sanada tags in and he attacks both opponents with drop kicks. Sanada drops Matt and he locks him in the sharp shooter. Matt eventually gets to the ropes to break the submission attempt. Sanada then hits Matt with a suplex before missing a moonsault. Nick interferes and he nails Sanada with a super kick. The Bucks try to hit Naito with a Meltzer Driver and Sanada blocks it from happening. LIJ spikes Matt on the head with an assisted tombstone pile driver for a near fall. Sanada then hits Matt with a straight jacket German suplex for a near fall. Nick interferes and he sends Naito out of the ring before hitting Sanada with a face buster. Nick then takes out Naito with a moonsault and Matt nails Sanada with a spear for a near fall. Sanada goes for a springboard move and The Bucks land a double super kick on him. The Bucks hit Sanada with a Five Star Meltzer Driver for a near fall. Naito interferes and he traps Nick on the rope. Matt escapes Skull End from Sanada and he rolls him up for the three count. Winners: The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson)
ROH World Champion Jay Lethal vs. Chris Sabin (Non-Title Proving Ground Match): The match begins with Lethal and Sabin taking turns working over their arms. Lethal and Sabin also exchange some arm drags. Sabin gets Lethal down and Lethal gets up before landing a few chops. Lethal and Sabin also exchange some shoulder tackles. Lethal then drops Sabin with a hip toss before landing a basement drop kick. Lethal follows that up by nailing Sabin with a back breaker. Lethal traps Sabin in the corner while landing a few strikes. Lethal then catches a leaping Sabin to land a power slam. Sabin rolls out of the ring and Lethal gets to the ring apron. Sabin knocks Lethal to the arena floor and he winds up on the ring apron. Lethal then uses a drop kick to knock Sabin to the arena floor. Sabin gets back in the ring before spiking the knees of Lethal on the mat below. Sabin starts working over the injured knees of Lethal. Lethal rolls to the outside of the ring and Sabin nails him with a penalty kick from the ring apron. Sabin applies a modified abdominal stretch to the injured Lethal. Sabin catches Lethal in a roll up for a near fall. Lethal recovers and he nails Sabin with a suplex. Lethal goes for a Lethal Injection and Sabin blocks it before applying a submission hold. Lethal gets free and he knocks Sabin out of the ring. Lethal follows that up by attacking Sabin with a suicide dive. Sabin and Lethal get back in the ring before Sabin rolls him up for a near fall. Lethal recovers and hits Sabin with a Lethal Combination for a near fall. Sabin stuns Lethal with a boot to the face before landing a knee strike. Sabin goes to the top rope and he lands a DDT for another near fall. Sabin goes for Cradle Shock and Lethal counters with a roll up for a near fall. Lethal and Sabin have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring. Lethal ends the exchange by nailing Sabin with a cutter from out of nowhere. Lethal nails Sabin with hail To The King for a near fall. Lethal immediately applies a figure four leg lock and the bell rings to signal a time limit draw. Winner: Time Limit Draw, Which Means That Chris Sabin Earns A Future ROH World Title Shot
After the match, Chris Sabin wants the match to continue and Jay Lethal agrees to give him ten more minutes with The ROH World Title on the line. The match is about to start when Kenny King attacks both men.
The Briscoes (Jay & Mark Briscoe) vs. The Elite (Cody & Hangman Page) w/Brandi Rhodes vs. Best Friends (Chuckie T & Beretta): The match begins with Jay dropping Cody with a shoulder tackle. Jay follows that up by dropping Cody with a back elbow strike. Cody recovers and he nails Jay with an upwards punch. Mark tags in and Cody drops him before tagging Page in. Cody then hits Mark with a front suplex onto the knees of Page. Page corners Mark before landing a plethora of strikes. Cody tags in and T tags in a few moments later after Mark kicked Cody in the face. Best Friends and The Elite have a brawl in the ring. Best Friends knock The Elite out of the ring before getting jumped by The Briscoes. Mark tags in and he attacks T with a series of strikes. Jay tags in and The Briscoes nail T with a double shoulder tackle. Jay nails T with some strikes before tagging Mark into the ring. T recovers and he nails Mark with a flat liner. Beretta tags in and he nails Mark with a top rope high cross body. Beretta attacks Jay before nailing Mark with a clothesline. Beretta then hits a cornered Mark with a flying back elbow strike followed by a half dragon suplex. Jay interferes and T attacks him. The Best Friends take out the Briscoes with dives on the arena floor. Mark hits the ring and Page nails him with a Buckshot Lariat. Cody tags in and a four way hug breaks out on the inside of the ring. Beretta then rolls up Cody for a near fall. Brandi interferes and she flashes Beretta so Cody can nail him with a suplex. Jay tags in and The Briscoes demand Brandi exit the ringside area and the referee obliges. The Briscoes would then double team Beretta. The Briscoes then hit Beretta with Redneck Boogie for a near fall. Jay also chokes Beretta on the bottom rope. Mark drags Beretta out of the ring before throwing him into the barricade. Jay also goes out of the ring to kick Beretta in the face. Jay gets Beretta back in the ring before tagging Mark into the match. Mark quickly drops Beretta with a suplex for a near fall. Jay tags back in and he rips away at the face of Beretta. Beretta fights back and he drills a charging Jay with a clothesline. Mark hits the ring and he knocks T off the ring apron. Beretta then hits Mark with a tornado DDT. Cody tags in and he cleans house against the opposing teams. Cody hits Jay with a power slam for a near fall. Cody follows up by nailing Jay with a Beautiful Disaster. Cody then sends a charging jay out of the ring. Page then hits Jay with a shooting star press from the ring apron. Mark attacks Cody and he slams him. Mark goes to the top rope and T crotches him. Jay attacks T and he goes after Cody before eating Cross Rhodes. Mark then hits Cody with a Froggy Bow to break up a pin attempt. Page and T get tagged into the match and a striking exchange breaks out. T quickly nails Page with Sole Food and a knee strike. T then hits Page with a standing sliced bread for a near fall. Page recovers and he nails a charging T with a spinning clothesline followed by a power bomb for a near fall. Page puts T on the top rope and he follows him up there. Beretta returns to nail Page with a super German suplex. T then hits Page with a frog splash followed by a pile driver for a near fall. Cody and Beretta get tagged in by their respective partners. Beretta and Cody have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring. Beretta goes for a flying knee strike and he accidentally nails the referee. Mark gets in the ring and he nails Cody with the IWGP United States Title belt. Beretta attacks Mark before eating a chair shot from Jay. SoCal Uncensored hits the ring and they attack The Briscoes. Best Friends hit Mark with a Dude Buster for a three count. Winners: Best Friends (Chuckie T & Beretta)
