Hogan Return Update, Emma’s First Booking Revealed, More Cuts?

TMZ recently spoke with Nick Hogan and discussed recent rumors of his father’s return to in-ring action. He said that Hulk can still compete but he declined to discuss rumors of a WWE return, instead choosing to reveal that his father will only appear on a part-time basis if he does return. Hogan himself recently revealed on Twitter that he is currently in the process of making and closing some deals that he has been working on for a while now. Hogan has been teasing that an announcement regarding his future in professional wrestling will be made over the past few weeks now. While a WWE return is still strongly being rumored, some reports have also suggested that Hogan could be joining a different promotion with Eric Bischoff.

Perfect day, great Thanksgiving. Back to making new deals this week and closing some I’ve beat into submission. Around great, loving, happy, positive people all day. miss the good old days? No, these are the really great days man, the future is really bright!!! Only love HH

One of the most devastating releases from WWE came when Emma was let go from the company. Her release promoted a ton of support from fans and wrestlers alike who did not believe that she received that opportunities that she deserved in WWE. Emma will be continuing her wrestling career on the independent circuit soon, and her first indy appearance has just been announced. During a recent Absolute Intense Wrestling event, the promotion announced that Emma (now Tenille Dashwood) will be appearing during a show in February. It was also announced that she will be appearing at a WrestlePro event on February 3rd. Get ready to see Emma step back into the ring once again at the start of 2018.

It was announced earlier that at @aiwrestling’s February show, their special guest will be @TenilleDashwood, (fka “Emma” in WWE)

WWE has been cutting a ton of roster members as of late. The likes of Emma, Summer Rae, Darren Young, and James Ellworth have all recently been let go from the roster. However, this past week, WWE promoted several new stars such as Sonya Deville, Mandy Rose, Hideo Itami, Ruby Riot, Sarah Logan, and Liv Morgan to the main roster. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that there is fear among “marginal talent” in WWE that this could mean that more cuts to the roster are on the way soon. It is believed that Vince McMahon promoted the aforementioned names in order to spice up the roster, so the departures of some lesser-known roster members could definitely be on the way soon.
