ABC News, via the AP, covered WWE star Heath Slater returning home to West Virginia to help recent flood victims.

Slater spent the second-half of the week volunteering in Clay County, W. Va., where flooding at the end of June devastated families and property.

Slater was interviewed on local TV and documented his journey on Twitter returning to his home state.

I'm a man on a mission today. Clay County here we come. #wvstrong #wvproud
